The new Waller Creek chain of parks will be active places for all of Austin to enjoy -- and that includes places for eating and drinking! Therefore, the Waller Creek Conservancy and the City of Austin are hosting two public feedback sessions on Thursday, February 22 and Saturday, February 24 to collect the community's input on what food options and experiences they would like to see. Through a series of interactive activities, attendees will have the opportunity to share their thoughts on their preferred dining experiences and menu type options. Attendees will also hear a project update on Waterloo Park, which is currently under construction. Food and refreshments will be served, and childcare will be provided. Spanish interpretation will be offered on Saturday. And MORE! Attendees can enjoy a free food tasting and cooking demonstration! Voter registration will be offered by the League of Women Voters. In addition, we will be collecting food donations at both public meeting sessions, benefiting the Central Texas Food Bank.
